Introduction:
This is a one-year full-time course. It aims to provide school leavers or mature students with the opportunity to prepare a portfolio of art for Art College or for personal development of artistic skills.

- Assistance with Portfolio Preparation

Entry Requirements:
Access to this course will be decided by interview, students will be expected to show aptitude for the course with examples of creative work.
Work Experience:
One day a week will be spent on suitable work experience.
Progression to Third Level Art Colleges:
The college has a high success rate in helping students secure places in third level Art Colleges. This includes Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Fashion Design and Printmaking courses.
Course Fees:
In addition to the college registration fee of €150 there is a fee for art material.
Certification:
Students who complete the course successfully qualify for:
- A FETAC (Level 5) award in Art, Craft & Design – AACDX
- A College Certificate
